Queen's Platinum Jubilee

On the 28th of May 2022, the 11th Gillingham Scouts held their Platinum Jubilee celebration at the head quarters. Months of preparation culminated on the Saturday morning when the explorers and leaders and committee members set up the tents, activities and prepared the sandwiches and cakes for the afternoon tea. The weather was kind with sun in the morning with it clouding over in the late afternoon allowing for pleasant day. It was a free event with games, face painting, Tombola  and a bouncy castle laid on for all to have fun and socialise with refreshments in the marques.
