90th Birthday Reunion Party
On Saturday 14th September the 11th Gillingham celebrated their 90th birthday with a joint party and reunion of many of its past members.
Some 150 people took part in the activities and fun on a bright, sunny late Summer's day including face-painting, bouncy castle, knotting and woggle making plus more and many intrigued guests asking about the string gate we'd made for the event.
We managed to find several photographs of the history of the Group and members of past generations.
And of course, no big birthday party is complete without a big sixteen-inch square cake!
A big thank you to Gillingham Scout Active Support who cooked the burgers and chips throughout the afternoon, and the Group's leaders, committee and supporters.
